These are pressure actuated, high explosive (blast), antitank (AT) landmines. They can be fuzed with the MVM and the MV-5 or MV-5K pressure actuated fuzes, or the MVSh-46 tilt/pressure actuated fuze for an AT mode. The TMN-46 can also be fuzed with an MUV-2 or MUV-3 fuze in the auxiliary fuze well.
When the pressure cap is employed, the primary fuze well will contain an MV-5 or MV-5K fuze. When the MVM fuze is employed in the primary fuze well, the mine may also contain an MV-5 or MV-5K fuze placed upside down under the MVM fuze. The MVSh-46 fuze may use an extension rod.
