Use
Tetrytol is a mixture of tetryl and molten TNT. As some of the tetryl goes into the solution, the mixture can be successfully cast with as high as 70 percent tetryl and 30 percent TNT by weight. The principal use and advantage of tetrytol is in loading boosters and bursters by the cast method.
