Description
These are freefall dispensers which are carried externally on high-speed aircraft. They are equipped with quick opening, spring loaded, tail fins and are used to disperse fragmentation bombs. The SUU-51B/B may be used in conjunction with a laser operated guidance kit to provide high accuracy bombing.
The dispenser is painted olive drab with a nameplate attached to the side to provide identification data.
